Policy for Registration and Scheduling Pre-Exam
PMC has explained in MDCAT 2022 Student Guide Book that any student who will provide wrong information for registration will not be able to sit in the MDCAT exam. Even these students will be debarred from taking MDCAT permanently. The registration of such students will be cancelled. The Scheduling Process of MDCAT 2022 is mentioned in MDCAT Student Guide Book. According to PMC, all students have been awarded with MDCAT Exam Dates according to their Selection of MDCAT Exam Date and MDCAT Test Centres on the basis of first come first serve. The system has scheduled the exam of some students to other centres due to occupied capacity of a centre. Students can check their PMC MDCAT 2022 Date and Centre on the PMC Exams Portal. Students can Reschedule MDCAT Exam Date from August 8, 2022 to August 19, 2022 as per the availability of seats on that day. Roll No. Slips for MDCAT 2022 will be issued from 20th August 2022 to 28th August 2022 after the closure of rescheduling window.
Policy for Rescheduling During Exam
Pakistan Medical Commission has made a policy for Rescheduling During Exam to facilitate MDCAT candidates in case of any emergency situation or disastrous circumstances. Rescheduling During MDCAT Exam will only due to any medical and accidental emergencies. Candidates can also reschedule their MDCAT Exam if the date clashes with any other exam. To Reschedule MDCAT Exam due to Emergency, candidates must select new date before the 3 days of their original exam date. If a candidate is absent on its exam date, he/she can reschedule exam within the 1 day of original scheduled exam date. If candidates face the issue of no future dates available for rescheduling during exam, the complaint can be filed at the PMC Complaint Management System. Keep in mind that students are eligible only for One Time Rescheduling During MDCAT Exam.
Refund Policy
In the starting days of MDCAT 2022 Registration, many students face the issue about fee submission. Students submitted their fee but there was no update on exam portal. Even some students had to pay MDCAT fee for two times. PMC received many complaints about the submission of dual fees. To solve the issue of such students, Pakistan Medical Commission has mentioned a refund policy in PMC MDCAT 2022 Guide Book. Students can refund their fee after August 4, 2022 only in the case of dual fee payment. The students who have paid fee only one time are not eligible to refund the fee.
MDCAT Exam Rules and Regulations
PMC has set some rules and regulations to conduct transparent MDCAT exam which are clearly written in PMC MDCAT Guide Book. All the important rules and regulations for MDCAT Exam are given below.
1. It is compulsory for every candidate to reach examination centre in time. If a candidate is late for 30 minutes, he/she will not be permitted to sit in the exam.
2. It is mandatory for candidates to bring their original identity document which includes CNIC, Passport, POR, B-form and NICOP (Any One of Them); and a hard copy of Corona Vaccination Certificate. Otherwise they may face issues.
3. Candidates have to follow the precautionary measures issued by NCOC like mask wearing and distance maintenance.
4. No candidate will be allowed to take in any material (paper, pencil, mobile phone, any electrical device, eatables) other than Roll No. Slip into the exam hall. Water or Juice will be given to students in the Exam Hall.
5. The invigilator has authority to conduct a search of the candidate and if any prohibited material is found from candidate or candidate is found talking in the examination hall, he/she will be debarred from taking MDCAT exam for next two years.
6. No candidate can leave the exam centre before test submission except severe medical emergency and in that case MDCAT can be rescheduled. After test submission, candidates can leave exam hall but cannot re-enter once leave the examination centre.
